Born as the 6th child in a humble family of 9 in 1965, self-taught his way into the career from being a shampoo boy without prior knowledge on beauty, who then decided to pursue his passion and studied hair styling in Rudi Hadisuwarno Academy, Jakarta. Willy later continued to learn more in Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, Australia, France, London, and other foreign countries.

With an identity of classic-modern character, Willy is now one of the best hair stylist and makeup artist in this nation, after achieving 1st place in numerous events, and receiving recognition both national and internationally. One of Willy's most stellar achievements was being honored as the 'Personality of the Year' by a world famous hair styling association in Paris, Internationale Coiffures Dames (ICD).

Willy has placed a mark on most Indonesian fashion and beauty magazines such as Indonesian Teatler, Harper's Bazaar, Dewi, Goodhouse Keeping, Cosmopolitan, A+, Femina, Rias, and many more. Not only printed media, Willy was also involved in beauty infomercials by brands such as Sunsilk, Clear, and Makarizo. Also, in his 30+ years of experience, he has handled hundred of thousands of customers of W2 Salon, celebrities & public icons, fashion show models, and many other unmentionable accounts.
